Pool News

The Walla Walla Country Club Pool was rebuilt in 2022 and reopened Summer 2023. New features included large l-shaped pool with a Sundeck as well as a separate wading pool for the little ones. The expanded pool deck holds plenty of lounge chairs with umbrella and staffed with lifeguards seven days a week. The new Pool area has its own Snack Shack with a large patio area perfect for small or large gatherings. The Snack Shack serves all the favorite treats and a full lunch menu.

Pool Hours

Pool will open Memorial Day weekend May 24th, 25th & 26th, 2025.
Hours are:
  • Sunday & Monday - Noon to 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday – Saturday - Noon to 8:00 pm

Snack Shack Food Service

  • Open Daily - Noon - 6:00pm
  • Lunch Menu Service - Noon - 2:00pm
  • Pool Patio Menu Service - Noon - 5:00 pm
  • Dinner Menu - Tuesday - Saturday after 5:00pm by reservation only. Must RSVP by 4:00 pm!

  1. All users of the pool swim entirely at their own risk.
  2. All persons entering the pool area must register with the lifeguard before using the facility.
  3. Non-Relative guest fee is $10.00 and relative guest fee is $5.00.
  4. Attire: All persons within the swimming pool enclosure must be clothed in swim wear and will not leave the pool and use the adjacent putting green or golf course. Swimwear is not permitted in the Clubhouse.
  5. A lifeguard will be on duty from 12:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday and 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays.This lifeguard is employed for your protection and has complete authority from the Board to expel anyone from the pool for misconduct or infraction of the safety and enjoyment of those using the pool facilities.
  6. The pool will be open for swimming from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday and 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday.  A). The pool will be available for Adults to swim before noon only if swimming lessons are not in session. Must have at least (2) adults and 18 or older and with and no one under age 18. Club rules do not allowed children under 18 in the Pool without a lifeguard present. Key will be available in the Club office. B). Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the pool even when a lifeguard is on duty unless accompanied by a guardian 16 year old or older.
  7. Running, wrestling, playing tag and rough housing in general is prohibited on the deck area r around the pool, in the locker rooms or elsewhere in the Clubhouse or Clubhouse grounds
The pool may be reserved for Private pool parties on Thursdays after 6:30 p.m. and (1) one Saturday per month after 6:30 p.m. …. all on a first-come-first-served basis. A fee of $500 will be charged for each private pool party.

**Exciting News: WWCC Swim School Returns This Summer!**

 

Get ready for an exciting summer at the Walla Walla Country Club Swim School! Our highly anticipated sessions will be held in June, July, and August. Sessions will be one week long, Monday through Friday. We offer two time slots: 10:00-11:00 AM and 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. To ensure personalized attention, each session is limited to just 25 students, ages five and up. Children aged three may be considered after discussion with the Instructor.

 

Our expert swim instructors and certified lifeguard instructors will lead engaging lessons, providing direct instruction, practical skills, and supervised games to enhance the learning experience. We offer a range of classes, including Beginners Levels I, II, III, Advanced Beginner Levels I, II, Intermediate Levels I, II, and Advanced Swimmer. Advanced swimmers can join our intermediate classes while receiving tailored, advanced instruction.

 

Each one or two-week session is priced at just $60.00 per child, inclusive of a full hour of pool time. At the conclusion of their first session, students will proudly receive a certificate to mark their achievements, along with a WWCC Swim School t-shirt. Our lessons are designed for club members and their children and grandchildren, with openings available to friends of members two weeks prior to the start of each session if space permits.

Theresa spent the last 36 years of her life as an educator and administrator in elementary schools throughout the Northwest and Alaska. With a Mater's degree in Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education, she spent years working with children in all types of athletic settings. Early in her career, she taught swimming to physically active and engaged children, as well as those who experienced significant physical and cognitive delays. All her students responded to her instruction and learned to swim regardless of the challenges they may have faced. She's coached swim teams and diving teams at the high school level, run "waterfront activities" at summer camps, and taught literally hundreds of kids every week of summer for years. Her experience with teaching and coaching are an absolute asset to our Swim School
