Course Information
Welcome to the Walla Walla Country Club, founded in 1923 and designed by a local banker, W.W. Baker in 1923 then redesigned by world famous golf course architect A.W. Tillinghast in 1936. The overall length of the course looks as it should lend itself to low scores, but the trees, rough and smallish greens more than make up for the short length. Sitting nestled at the base of the Blue Mountains in Eastern Washington, the Walla Walla Country Club is "The Best Kept Secret in the State"!

HOLE 9
Hole #9, a par 4 at 415 yards is considered the hardest hole by many as it calls for a slight fade off the tee then a long approach into a prevailing breeze and an elevated green with a false front on the left. Make par here and it's a great day!

HOLE 11
Hole #11 is a sharp dog-leg left par 4 at 400 yards. A 3-wood off the tee is sometimes required, followed by a long iron into a breeze and it's more uphill than it looks. The green looks benign but is quick from right to left.

HOLE 12
The 12th hole is a 350 yard par 4 with a great view from the elevated tee. Stone Creek meanders along the right and nourishes the large willow trees. Play down the left side and birdies are a norm with the forward pin locations. The rollercoaster green produces 3 putts when the approach shot isn't perfect.

The picturesque 16th hole is a 390 yard par 4. Avoid the fairway bunker on the left at all costs. It's best to be putting from below the hole but Stone creek abuts the front of the green and must be carried. Major slope in the green so be careful with any downhill putts.

HOLE 17
The par 3 17th hole at 202 yards is the toughest par on the course. Don't miss the green left as the trees & bunker always win and the front right bunker is no bargain either. Most shots run off the right edge of this green but leaves a relative easy up & in from there. Make par here and celebrate!

HOLE 18
The 18th and final hole is a par 5 at 515 yards. It's hard to reach in two as the green sits 10 feet above the fairway with a large amphitheater behind. Keep the 2nd shot left as right brings into play a deep and difficult bunker front right of the green. The front pin location is receptive to birdies where the back right pin will test the skill of any player!
