Location: Two on No. 17, one right of the middle tee and one left of the green near the cart path.

Tree information: Native to northeastern and central China. It is most well-known for truly spectacular bark which develops with age


 
Size: 30 to 50’ with a 20 to 35’ spread.

Growth rate: Very slow (Less than one foot per year)

Foliage description: Needles in bundles of three with small yellowish-brown cones.

USDA hardiness zone: 4 to 8

Provenance: Wenzel Nursery.  Planted in 2015.
