Location: All of these plants are to the left of the No. 3 fairway and green.

Tree information: A specimen tree valued for both foliage and its unusual bark.  The younger trees and smaller branches have an exfoliating bark.  The older branches and trunks develop a rich brown cinnamon color.

  
 
Size: 20 to 30’

Growth rate: Slow at 6’ to 12” per year.

Foliage description:  Tri-folate leaf. The leaves are russet red in fall.

USDA hardiness zone: 5 to 8

Provenance: Grown by Schictel’s Nursery and planted in 2010. Seed stock came from Durand Eastman Park in Rochester, NY.
