Golf Course Dress Code

Dress Code for the Walla Walla Country Club golf course and practice area which included the driving range, putting greens, and chipping area’s, are as follows:

Acceptable Attire:

Men & Junior Boys: Shirts must have a collar and sleeves, mock turtle-necks must have a 1” collar. Shorts the length must be no shorter than 6“ inches above the top of the knee.

Women & Junior Girls: Shirts must have a collar or sleeves or both. Shorts/skirts/skorts the length must be no shorter than 6“ inches above the top of the knee.

Unacceptable Attire:

  • Jeans or denim material of any style or color

  • Tee shirts (novelty or otherwise) men and boys

  • Athletic/work-out attire

  • Swimwear

  • Halter tops

  • Spandex or exercise wear

  • Steel Spikes

Clubhouse Dress Code

Proper dress of members, visitors, and their families will be expected at all times.Hosting members and visitors will be responsible for the correct attire of their guests.

The following guidelines are published for appropriate dress when visiting the Club:
  • Sweatpants are not acceptable.

  • Jeans are not allowed in the Main Dining Room.

  • Jeans, without holes or frayed seams, are acceptable in the Lounge, Fairway Room, Banquet Rooms, Card Room, Meeting Room, 19th Hole, and the Main Outdoor Patio.

  • Sports headgear is acceptable in the Lounge only.

  • Golf shorts must be of mid-thigh length.

a. Gentlemen:

  1. Collared sport shirt or sweater and golf or dress slacks acceptable in all areas of the Club.

  2. Sport coats are required only in the Main Dining Room from November 1 through March 31 after 5:30 p.m.

  3. Golf & tennis shorts are acceptable except in the Main Dining Room.

b. Ladies (all ages)

  1. Split-skirts are acceptable.

  2. Halter type tops are unacceptable

c. Young Men 17 and Under:

  1. Sweatpants are not acceptable throughout the Club and jeans are not acceptable in the Main Dining Room.

  2. Young men may substitute sweaters for sport coats.

  3. Collarless shirts are not acceptable.
